On December 8, 1983, seven couples from Northwest Arkansas met and committed to spend seven days in prayer concerning two questions. First, were they willing to become part of a new church? Second, how much could they give financially to help the church get started?
The following Sunday, the families came together and they voted unanimously to begin Fellowship Bible Church of Northwest Arkansas. The seven couples first met in the home of Jim and Anne Arkins. As the congregation grew, the church moved to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Bentonville and then to Oakdale Junior High School, Rogers. In 1991, the first Worship Center was constructed and the Fellowship "home" is now located on Pleasant Grove Road in Rogers, Arkansas.
The ministry has continued to be blessed with growth and life-change. Two major building campaigns, "The Great Adventure" and "The Great Investment" have provided new buildings for ministries from birth through adults for worship and celebration. Thousands of people attend services on the Fellowship campus each weekend.
